Our activity on real estate projects is primarily focused around our core expertise in student accommodation, social housing and other forms of public-private partnerships.
We provide support in delivering
- Strategic JV agreements – e.g. advising the University of Oxford on its £4bn joint venture with LGIM for funding and development of strategic land.
- Development finance
- Strategic Estates Partnerships
- Asset sales and acquisitions – including the sale of 2,432 beds to UPP on behalf of St. Modwen (equity value £125m) and the acquisition of Aston Student Village on behalf of Unite (£227m).
We believe the depth of our expertise and independence of our advice sets us apart from other advisors and property agents – particularly in assisting clients on more complex deals which may involve multiple parties, longer-term operating agreements or financial structuring.
