Kieran McCallum

Director

Kieran is a Director in our advisory team who has a wide range of experience supporting both public and private sector clients across a wide range of sectors. He is currently advising the University of Manchester and Durham University on the procurement of a partner for their student residences developments and advising on the Irish Higher Education PPP Programme – Bundle Two, having supported bidders on earlier submissions for Bundle One and Community Nursing Units PPPs. He has provided advice to both universities and housing associations on financial strategy, covenant negotiations, debt structuring and debt raising including renegotiation / early repayment of existing facilities. Kieran also provides wider strategic advice including development of business cases for HE and FE clients to support their capital plans.

 

Kieran recently advised the London School of Economics on the selection of a consortium comprising Bouygues UK and Equitix as the preferred development partner for the redevelopment of the existing Bankside House student accommodation in Southwark, London. He continues to support the School as it works alongside Bouygues and Equitix, as it prepares its planning application for the scheme. Other recent transactions include development of financial models for a PBSA JV, operating models for PBSA and raising funding via income strip and RCFs for multiple universities.

 

He joined Quayle Munro in October 2011 from Henderson Loggie where he was an Executive in its Corporate Finance & Forensic Accounting department. Prior to this Kieran worked in Audit for Henderson Loggie and KPMG.

 

Kieran has a BA (Hons) in Economics and Spanish from the University of Strathclyde. During his studies, he spent his 4th year at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAS).
