Sami joined QMPF in 2021 after qualifying with a CA whilst working at EY. He spent over three years in the EY Assurance department in Edinburgh working on a mix of clients in a variety of industries ranging from life sciences in Boston to consumer retail in Scotland.

He works across all core QMPF service lines, with a particular focus on renewables. His recent experience includes:

• M&A advice on the buy and sell side for private sector clients in the biogas and anaerobic digestion sector.
• M&A advice and commercial strategy support for private sector clients on several opportunities in the low-carbon district heating sector across the UK.
• Financial and commercial support to various public and quasi-public sector clients across several renewable energy technologies, including project assessments in line with the Green Book (5-case) principles.
• Financial advisory services across several  ‘Design, Build, Finance and Operate’ transactions in the higher education sector for the provision of student accommodation.
• Debt raising and capital structuring for universities.
• Bid side support for private sector clients in the extra care sector.

Sami graduated from Durham University with an MA Economics in 2017, and is a keen sportsman with a particular emphasis on golf and football aiming to play both on a weekly basis.
