QMPF shortlisted for Student Accommodation Agency Team of the Year
We are delighted to announce that QMPF has been shortlisted as a finalist for Student Accommodation Agency Team of the Year at Property Week’s Student Accommodation Conference & Awards 2026.
The recognition follows an exceptionally competitive year for the awards and reflects QMPF’s longstanding commitment to the student accommodation sector. Our specialist education team works with universities and sector partners across the UK, providing strategic, financial and commercial advice on student accommodation projects — from funding and financial modelling to procurement, joint ventures and long-term partnership structures.
Recent projects demonstrate the depth and scale of that work. QMPF supported Manchester Metropolitan University on its joint venture with Unite Students for the redevelopment of Cambridge Halls, helping the University assess the financial and risk implications and agree a structure expected to deliver more than 2,300 beds while retaining an institutional stake in a strategic campus asset. We have also advised the University of Manchester on the Fallowfield redevelopment, the largest university accommodation DBFO partnership currently progressing in Europe. The project reached financial close in August 2026 and is expected to deliver up to 3,300 bed spaces; QMPF’s role has included partner procurement and negotiation, support through planning and Building Safety Act approvals, and advice on an innovative funding structure designed for a project of this scale.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 1 December 2026 at the Westminster Park Plaza, London. We look forward to celebrating with colleagues and peers from across the student accommodation sector.
