Natalie joined QMPF in November 2014. Her expertise include debt raising, financial advisory, due diligence and financial modelling in the areas of education, infrastructure, and renewables.
Natalie has been involved in several projects assisting universities in raising debt. These include supporting Leeds Beckett University in securing a £50m debt facility and Royal Holloway, University of London in securing a £80m private placement. She has also been involved in student accommodation projects for clients such as the University of Exeter and the University of Hull.
She is experienced in taking infrastructure projects to financing close and has now taken four hub details to financial close.
Natalie has worked on seven district heating projects in recent years. Her work has predominantly involved developing the financial aspects of Investment Case Business Cases including delivering a robust financial model. She is also part of the team who have recently been appointed to advise Local Energy Scotland on commercial and financial aspects of community renewables projects.
She advised the Scottish Funding Council on its deployment of £40m of funding to Scottish Universities to support strategic development of estates and spend-to-save projects.
Prior to joining QMPF, Natalie was an Executive at EY in the Transaction Advisory Services team working on independent business reviews and formal restructuring work. Natalie graduated from the University of St Andrews with a first class joint honours degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. She is a Chartered Accountant.
